Cutting and Carving

I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday! It's the one day of the year where you get to dress however you want and get away with it!! Another thing I love about Halloween is Carving Pumpkins. Here are some special pumpkins I carved for Mike (Aaron's Brother) and Amy's wedding, Friday October 13th, 2006.

I also got my hair cut!

Jess your hair looks gorgeous... it even brings out your stunning facial features even more! I also cut all of my hair off recently and opted for short hair. Have a lovely time dressing up for Halloween. :)

I hope the People thing works out for you. Today I saw a fantastic show on Oprah. It was patients of bi-pass surgery who traded their food addiction for another after their weight loss. The emphasis was on dealing with the real issues that have made or kept you fat, and while bi-pass may be a quick fix for the fat it will not fix the real problems. Statisticly 30% of bi-pass patients become alcoholics. Others, sex, drug or attention addicts of some sort.

I, my self am over weight and "tryin" I ave also considered bi-pass; the thing that stopped me is...If I can't get a handle on my addictive or distructive issues then I would gain back the weight {like others I know have} or worse.

Using food to cope sucks, if that option is imediatly taken away then what? I know and you are proof that these thins have to be worked out one moment at a time. Better to change gradually and figure it all out as you go than to make a sudden and drastic change and have a flood of baggage and emotion to drown in.

Love the hair! Mine is short, too. I never thought I'd do it but since I did I haven't gone back!
