Sorry for the long pause, but it has been hard to find free time to make a post with all that is going on…
April was a horrible month. In the end I gained 7 pounds due to stress eating. (Just read my April posts for an idea of what has been bothering me.)
I realize that being “self-destructive” is no way to deal with life’s difficulties and I have been doing my best to get back to my healthy lifestyle!
I am slowly getting back in the groove, and so far I’ve lost ½ a pound in May.
I ran three miles in 41:00 minutes on Tuesday. The first 8 – 10 minutes were AWFUL, but I soon I got in a rhythm and was able to go the distance. I plan to run again this evening.
I still have not gotten back in the habit of counting my calories, but I am watching portions and making better choices. I have a few more bumps to get over ( I will be going out to eat tomorrow night with my In-Laws and on Saturday I am going to my cousin’s wedding. ) and then I will be back on track with my calories as well!!!
I will also try to posting more regularly.
Hope you are living healthy too!
Jess

Glad to have you back!
Hang in there Jessica. You are my inspiration. I've been back to the YMCA everyday for the past six weeks. Trying not to weigh, because I become obsessed with the number on the scale. Main goal right now is to feel more healthy. I'm so very sorry for the many difficult experiences that you have indured over the past couple months.
God's speed to you.

You gotta stay out here, this kind of accountability really helps. I have to get on the scale, count things and then post that stuff otherwise, well, it just gets away from me and really adds up! Hang in there!
