Over the weekend Aaron and I attended DragonCon here in Atlanta GA.
It was an AMAZINGLY fun time!!! :-D It was a totaly geek-out fest. TONS of great walking too.
I was nearly run-over by a jogging Sean Astin.
(He played Mikey in The Goonies and Sam-wise in The Lord of the Rings - Trilogy)
Next year I will be wearing my costumes for the event.
It will be SWEEEEEEEEEET.

How very cool. I am trying to make it to a Ren Fest before they end but if I have to keep buying new clothes sizes I'll never afford it in time!
Oh wow, I was at Dragon*Con too this past weekend. Was this your first one or have you been before? Glad to read you had a great time. :)
This comment is for your May 6 post, where you shared your success using fatsecret.com.
Thank you! It is just what I needed. I started reading your blog about six months ago, and two things you said rang true with me:
1) If you lose weight, you are still you
2) Slow, gradual weight loss is possible and won't make you miserable
It does help immensely to have a husband who loves you, no matter which you is presented to the world. I have an Aaron, too, and his name is Aaron!
I started reading your blog at 294 pounds, and now I'm 259, having lost the last 5 pounds due to the fatsecret "widgets".
I think you may have saved my life simply because you take the time to share your story with the world.
Thanks again.
Way to go Jess! Over 100 pounds lost, that is awesome. Good for you. I know that is not easy.
It was your first Dragon Con? You are very excited.

Jess, Way to go with the weight loss. It is something incredible to see someone put in the hard work to achieve that. Congrats.
I am also glad you enjoyed DragonCon. Sounds like it was a lot of fun.
I wanted to let you know about a great place to get free weight loss tips and tricks in case you want to switch up your routine. I know sometimes I like to switch it up to shock my body.
Hope all is well and great job!
Thanks for sharing this information with us
I miss your blog.
Where are you?
I miss you too Jess. How you been?
Trying to Lose weight is not an easy task! you need will power and lots of patience, but all the little things count, like taking the dog for a brisk walk going for a run through the park, or things like not having that 2nd packet of crisps!
I think it's wonderful you are such a great example. Oh my I will be following your site. I have been so lucky finding sites for motivation. You and Jill Knapp who I also follow have the best stories. I will visit often.
weight loss is one the most toughest to do but gaining is not also easy because when you have to gain at that time you don't gain it.
